Random thoughts

Let's write in English today.
It has been a long time since my last blog in English.

These days I have not been searching the internet so often. Too bad, I am feeling empty. I need some intellectual challenge, something to occupy my mind.
Not having something to think about makes me depressed...

If I have a question, where should I go? Most people seem to search on the internet, to "google" it, but that doesn't seem to be enough.
Rich people may hire profissionals, lawyers, advisers, they will have a team to consult and ask questions.
I don't have money to hire a team, but... I still have the internet. The problem is to find the right people to ask the questions.
Sometimes I post questions on Yahoo answers, but except for simple, encyclopedic questions, it is pretty much useless.

That is the problem of internet. There are sites like Wikipedia that can give you encyclopedic information, but that is not enough.

If you have a personal problem in your life the encyclopedia will not give you an answer.
You have to ask a specialist.

How do you find a specialist? There are many specialists with websites filled with articles. The problem is to find the right article that may give hints about your own problem.

Is the world right or wrong? Should it be changed? How? Why?
There are many things that shouldn't be changed even if we don't like them.
I hate waking up early in the morning. But I know waking up early is good for my health. I can't and shouldn't try to change that.

Is bullying right or wrong?
Bullying is a serious problem here in Japan not just at schools but at the workplace.
I am Buddhist and that is how Buddhism teaches you to fight bullying: do nothing. That is right. Do nothing. Do not react when people try to bully you.
Because that is exactly what bullies are trying to get. A reaction. If you don't react, bullies will eventually lose interest and stop bullying you.
